Vladimir Ivanovich was born on January 9, 1938, in Sverdlovsk (current Ekaterinburg), an outstanding painter, honoured art worker in Uzbekistan, academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and one of the most outstanding artists of our country. This year, his family moved to Tashkent. After graduating from high school in 1952, he entered the National Arts School. In 1957 he graduated from the University with a diploma. After graduating from his studies, Vladimir Ivanovich began his career as a painting and drawing technician in Samarkand. Then he was hired as a chief painter at the Tashkent Officer House.
During eleven years, he was permitted to study in professional training (folk wizard, first years of reading from Tashpulat Arslonkulov), and later to famous pedagogue, national artist of Uzbekistan Abdulhaq Abdullaev. Vladimir Burmakin undertook lessons to improve his skills by Honoured Art Worker V.I.Jmakin. From 1959 to 1965 – professor of the Tashkent Theatre and Art Institute, studied under the leadership of the National Artist of Uzbekistan, academician R. A. Akhmedov’s. He has studied various art from leading masters to traditional painting.
Vladimir Ivanovich became the first painter in Uzbekistan who managed to arouse stereotypes of thinking in the well-organized exhibitions of the 1960s. In 1969 a large personal exhibition, held in the “House of Knowledge” hall with the legendary Ruzi Choriyev, became a sensational event of its time, gave a completely different look to the process of creativity, which in some cases gave rise to an infinite number of anger and creativity to others.
In 1981, his personal exhibition was held at the Tashkent Institute of Arts and this year she was awarded the title of Honoured Art Worker of Uzbekistan. From 1981 to 1995 Vladimir Ivanovich participated in exhibitions in Tashkent, Moscow, France, England, Germany, USA. From 1994 to 1997 Vladimir Ivanovich was elected vice-president of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan. Since 1997 he is a real member of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2000, he traveled to the United States to organize personal exhibitions in Philadelphia and New York
Vladimir Burmakin is a large, talented, talented artist. Creative and friendly relations with known architects of Uzbekistan, such as F.Tursunov, V. Spivak, S.Rozenblum, allowed to carry out a number of works related to architectural monuments of Tashkent. The palace “Pahtakor”, the mosaic and pictures of the sports complex “Mehnat zahiralari”, the restaurant “Zarafshon”, the mosaic of Tashkent hippodrome and many other reliefs. 2004-2005. he took part in the decoration of the international airport building and monumental works of the Senate building in Tashkent.
For more than forty years, the painter trained dozens of talented masters in Tashkent art schools, and their names have gone the way to the list of prominent Uzbek artists. For his achievements in 2003, Vladimir Ivanovich was awarded the Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in 2005 was awarded the Order “Fidokor”
He has created hundreds of works in color and graphics. His works were highly appreciated in many exhibitions in Uzbekistan, Russia, England, France, America, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey and Poland. The artist’s works are kept in museums, galleries, and personal collections around the world.
More than 200 works of the artist are regularly exhibited at the ECU-hotel galleries in Cologne and Gummersbach, Germany. In 2000-2001, Vladimir Ivanovich’s personal exhibitions were held in Pink Bird and Art Gallery in Philadelphia and New York. In June-July 2005, the artist’s works were exhibited at the Moscow classic gallery. During his creative career, Vladimir Burmakin visited France, Austria, Switzerland, Morocco, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bulgaria, and Cuba, where he enjoyed the warmth of his audience.
Many years after the legendary exhibition of 1969, the work of the artist was not paid attention, always the original thinking, the artists’ colleagues and their talent were unexpected for fans. Vladimir Burmakin’s works include the power of a healthy, moral and spiritual power. Later, the logic and reasoning experience is born of the healthy nature of the knowledge, which makes the existence and power of the creative spirit manifested by God and nature. Here the artist sees his fate. Since August 2006 Vladimir Ivanovich is the secretary of the Academy of Arts. Nowadays his works differ with its uniqueness from others.
