General information about the Faculty of Fine Arts

        In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 23, 1997 “On the establishment of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan”, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 131 of March 11, 1997 and the Institute of Culture) The National Institute of Art and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod was established on the basis of the Faculty of Fine Arts. The institute was named after the great artist Kamoliddin Behzod, the founder of the Oriental School of Miniature, and the Faculty of Fine Arts, the main foundation of the institute, was established. Among the late teachers who laid the foundation stone of many prominent Uzbek fine arts at this faculty and left behind many students;    Academicians of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artists of Uzbekistan, professors and many well-known artists taught the students of the faculty the secrets of fine arts. 

        At present, the faculty has a number of academicians of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artists of Uzbekistan, Artists of Uzbekistan, Honored Art Workers of Uzbekistan, Honored Youth Coaches of Uzbekistan, professors, associate professors. valar operates. There are 525 bachelors and 52 masters at the faculty, 24 academicians and professors, 28 associate professors, a total of 102 professors and teachers studying at the faculty on a part-time and part-time basis. 577 students are taught specialty subjects.

        There are 4 departments in the faculty. Of these; The following departments are “Bench Painting”, “Monumental Painting”, “Theatrical Painting”, “Miniature and Book Graphics”. These departments of the faculty train eight specialists in the field of bachelor’s degree and seven specialists in the field of master’s degree . After graduating from the bachelor’s and master’s degrees, they work in all schools and colleges of the republic specializing in fine arts, theaters, film studios, publishing houses, art galleries and museums of the republic. 

           Currently, the faculty studies the winner of the State Prize named after Zulfiya, winners of international Olympiads and prestigious competitions.
