October 30, 2024. The delegation of the institute headed by the rector of the institute Abbasjon Mirzorakhimov arrived at the Capital International Airport in Beijing and was welcomed by the manager of the Foreign Department of Beijing RuiPan International Education Technology Wang Huan (Joanna) and accommodated at the “Civil Aviation International” hotel.

October 31, 2024. Arrived in Shijiazhuang from Beijing. Hebei Academy of Art and Design participated in the 60th anniversary event at the Art Center in Shijiazhuang. At the event, Mr. Zhang Guangjun, president of the academy, made a speech and welcomed all the guests. Professors and teachers from other Chinese art universities, including the rectors of China Academy of Arts, Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Harbin Institute of Technology, Central Academy of Arts, Nanjing Art University, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, also participated in the event with interest. The event featured a fashion show organized by students and teachers of the Hebei Academy of Art and Design, a performance of graphic and multimedia works, wushu and cello performance. The exhibition of practical art works was also visited. The exhibition of works of famous artists and young talents who graduated from the Academy was visited.

November 1, 2024. The Rectors’ Forum was held in the conference hall of the Taihang State Guesthouse in Shijiazhuang. The forum was opened by Mr. Zhang Guangjun, President of Hebei Academy of Art and Design. Rectors of a number of foreign partner universities of the Academy congratulated the 60th anniversary of the Academy online and talked about their mutual achievements. In his lecture, A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov introduced the participants in detail to the activities of the National Institute of Art and Design, in particular, the fact that the institute was established in 1954 as the Department of “Theatre Decoration Painting” under the Ostrovsky Theater and Art Institute in Tashkent, and that it was formed as an independent higher education institution in 1997, and that this institute is considered the only state educational institution in the field of visual arts and design in Uzbekistan. spoke. He presented the institute’s programs, faculties, and campus resources. Thus, he emphasized that internationalization is considered the main tool in creating the image of the university and increasing its status, and that the internationalization of higher education is characterized by the level of academic mobility of students and teachers, internationalization of curricula and programs. International cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions offered opportunities.

A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov concluded his speech at the Forum by saying that there is a great demand for strong, time-tested relations, enriching interstate relations, and most importantly, strengthening friendship and trust between our countries.

Kang Ping, director of the Arts and Crafts Professional Committee, representing the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, gave a report on the work done by the Committee in 2023 and 2024. Rectors of Chinese art higher education institutions, who participated as speakers at the forum, covered a number of topics that are relevant today, such as the impact of artificial intelligence on art, the role of art pedagogy in the education of young people.

After the lectures, the participants went to the Hebei Museum of Fine Arts and saw an exposition dedicated to the 60-year history of the Hebei Academy of Art and Design.

The first day of the forum ended with a visit to the Hebei Provincial Museum. In this museum, detailed information was obtained from the history of Hebei province, which is a part of Chinese history.

November 2, 2024. The second day of the forum was dedicated to visiting the ancient city of Zhengding, located in the Hebei province of China. Zhengding is famous for its many temples, pagodas and other historical sites. In the past, Zhengding was considered an important center of Buddhism in China and home to many famous monks. The participants went to the ancient city wall of Zhengding, which is considered one of the most visible and impressive historical monuments in the region. This ancient city wall has been preserved since the Ming Dynasty and is a great place to explore Shijiazhuang’s rich history and culture.

Forum participants also saw the sights of the ancient city, in particular, Longxing Monastery, Kaiyuan Temple built during the Sui Dynasty, Lingxiao Temple, home to one of the largest wooden Buddha statues in China, Humi Pagoda, and Puguang Temple, famous for its exquisite murals dating back to 1065.

After that, the delegation of the institute headed by Rector A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov left Shijiazhuang for Baoding.

November 3, 2024. An official meeting of the two higher education institutions was held in the main building of the Hebei Academy of Art and Design in Baoding. The meeting was attended by the president of the academy Mr. Zhang Guangjun, vice-rector Yang Qinghua, head of the International Center Wang Dong and center specialist Yin Boyan. Rector A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov gave detailed information about the activities of the National Institute of Art and Design. Mr. Zhang Guangjun also gave an academy presentation. The heads of both higher education institutions discussed the terms of international cooperation and signed a cooperation agreement.

After this meeting, a visit to the Baoding Museum of Paleontology was organized for the guests. This museum is currently considered one of the largest nature museums in Asia, its area is about eight hectares. There are 6,000 exhibits, most of which belong to the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. On display are unique specimens, including the world’s only complete synraptor and skeleton of the oldest jawed fish species, a specimen of a famous Chinese dinosaur, and the largest fossilized horse skull. The interior of the museum is equipped with modern screen and lighting equipment.

November 4, 2024. The delegation of the institute headed by Rector A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov went to Beijing. Beijing Ruipan International Education Technology Company organized a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Great Wall. The delegation got acquainted with the Great Wall of China, which is one of the most amazing wonders of the world, which is wrapped around the mountain ranges in the north of the capital.

After this visit, a meeting was held with Li Xin, president of Ruipan International Educational Technology Company. At the meeting, Rector A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov thanked Ms. Li Xin for the well-organized visit on behalf of the institute’s delegation, as well as her assistants Wang Huan (Joanna), manager of the Foreign Department, and Chen Li, manager of the Internal Relations Department. In the future, it was agreed to establish relations with art universities located in the East-Asian part of China.

November 5, 2024. The delegation of the institute headed by Rector A.Sh.Mirzorakhimov flew from Beijing to Tashkent on flight HY 506 at 10:55 Chinese time.
