Today, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, an international scientific-practical conference titled "Museum Studies in the 21st Century: Research, Traditions, and Innovations" was held. Rector of our institute, Omonulla Salixov, participated in the event and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
Along with local and foreign experts, scientists, and museum directors, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of our institute Dilafruz Qurbonova, faculty members, doctoral students, and students actively participated in the event, exchanging views on the current state and prospects of museum studies.
In particular, the conference discussed the role of museums in modern society, new directions of scientific research in museum studies, the preservation and promotion of historical and cultural heritage, as well as the implementation of modern technologies and innovative approaches in museum activities.
The participation of our institute's team in this conference was of great significance for promoting education and scientific cooperation in the fields of museum studies and cultural heritage.
