The department “Informatics and Management” was founded in 2003. Today, one of the departments of the Faculty of Art history at the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod. The department is aimed at teaching mathematics and science, economic disciplines in all specialties. The department has 13 teachers, including 5 candidates of sciences, 1 associate professor, 7 senior teachers.

The purpose of the department is the creative, scientific and spiritual development of students, the formation of their economic thinking, the improvement of their knowledge of modern information technologies and the teaching of their perception of environmental thinking.
