In March 2011, the Creative Society of Applied Arts of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod was created a creative group of “AAC” (“Applied Art Club”). The purpose of this creative group is to provide financial and spiritual assistance to children with disabilities and low- various charity events, exhibitions and workshops.
On May 23, 2011, the creative group of AAC together with “SANVIKT” the Art Center for children with disabilities organized a charity event called “One Step to the Future”.
This charity event is being held for the eighth time by the Faculty of Applied Arts in 2019. The event is held annually by the members of the creative group of AAC under the guidance of dean of the faculty Sayyora Saidova. The organizers of the event, such as the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the K. Behzod National Institute of Fine Arts and Design, the Tashkent city administration, and a number of sponsors are invited to support the organizers of the event, and at the highest level. Farhad Saidov and his team “Sarbon” are making their contribution to the event.
On May 2, 2019, the charity event, organized by the Faculty of Applied Art and SANVIKT Children’s Art Research Center, was opened by Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan, academician Akmal Vahobjonovich Nuriddinov. Speaking about such events, everybody is in charge of charity activities, head of the faculty Saidova Saidova, who is doing such noble deeds, is giving a great deal of joy and happiness to the disabled and needy children. Farhad Saidov, our beloved artist, thanked his father, Jurakul aka Saidov, for the education of such noble children. And 20 years ago, together with the director of the center, Gulsara Radjapova, they talked about how hard they had to go to organize this center and how they achieved it. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan F.Tashmuhamedov, the Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Arts F.A.Abidjanova and the Director of the Center O.I.Ruziev, who expressed their sincere condolences to the organizers and visitors.
The head of the faculty Sayyora Saidova expressed her gratitude for the fact that this charity event was included in the annual plan of the faculty and the center director G.Radjapova opened his eyes and thanked them for taking part in the center. At the same time, he emphasized that the event was one of the most important events of the faculty and that the purpose of the event was to bring each student to the grave, to see the children with disabilities, to share good and to engage in charitable activities.
This charity event involved more than 50 disabled and low-income children. During the event, master classes were conducted in the direction of Fine Arts and Applied Arts, and the creative process was conducted in 5 directions (1.Culture, 2.Heating and Decorating 3.Uniforms, 5.painting).
After master classes, children were given a festive table and gifts were handed over to each child. The symposium was given by the Rector of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod B.Sayfullayev and Director of the SANVIKT Disabled Children’s Scientific Research Center G.Radjapova, who helped the sponsors to make gifts and charity events.
