Kadirov Gafur Kobilovich

A member of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, a member of the Creative Union of Artists, a monumental painting artist, professor, was born in 1958 in Tashkent Region. In 1974-1978 he graduated from the Republican College of Art named after P.Benkov. From 1978 to 1984 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Arts named after V.Surikov, the department “Monumental Painting”. Since 1990 he is a member of the Union of artists under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. Since 1982 he has participated in national and international art exhibitions, in 2002 he was awarded the Silver Medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and in 2006 he was awarded the title of People’s Artist of Uzbekistan. G.K.Kadirov is not only a renowned artist but also a teacher of high qualification. From 1985 to 2000 he worked at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, in 1991-1996 as the head of the Department of “Monumental and decorative painting”. Since 2011, he has been working as a professor at the Department of “Monumental painting” at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod. During 2011-2016 he has participated in several art exhibitions in the republic and abroad, with his creative works. These are the art exhibition of Uzbek artists in Beijing and 10 cities of China in 2013, the exhibition “Genealogy: the tree of memory” at the Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan in 2013, the exhibition of fine arts in Riga in 2013, the art of Uzbekistan in 2013 in Ashgabat, an exhibition of Uzbek artists at the Central Artists’ House in Moscow in 2014, in 2014 the exibition “Fine Arts of Uzbekistan” in Brussels, Belgium in, in 2015 Art exhibition dedicated to the friendship of Uzbekistan and Pakistan at the Gallery of Fine Art, the art exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Ilhom Theater in the Ilkhom Theater in Tashkent in 2016, the 75th anniversary of Botir Zokirov held in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan in 2016.

In June and July 2016 at the Center for training and retraining of pedagogical cadres at the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture, a graduate qualification work for the subject “Artistic solution in composition” (4th grade, 8 th semester) And” Electronic data packet “(MODULE). Participant of the exhibition dedicated to the 26th anniversary of independence in ART AND FACT Gallery in September 2017, participant of the KOREA UZBEKISTAN FINE ART EXCHANGE EXHIBITION in September 2017, Participant of the exhibition “Master of Creativity” at the Department of Monumental painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Exhibition Hall of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, the author of the exhibition “Happiness”, “Pink Shirt” and “Happy Family” at the exposition of the Art Museum of Khiva. Participated in the Art Week in Tashkent in April 2018, held a Master Class in the Central Exhibition Hall. Participant of the International Tashkent Biennale in October 2018.

His creative works  are preserved in the State Museum of Art of Uzbekistan, in the collection of directorate of the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, in the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan, in the Art Gallery of Urgench, the Presidential Palace in the “Qaynarsoy”, in the Presidential Complex at the White Palace, in the Senate building.
