Meeting with Academics of the Institute

Today it is impossible to imagine the development of our national spirituality without examples of fine arts. Art is based on national traditions and promotes such universal ideas as kindness, nobility, friendship, solidarity and spiritual maturity. Therefore, we are all equally responsible for the comprehensive development of our national art, the quality education of our talented youth and the demonstration of their creativity.

To further improve the activities of the National Institute of Fine arts and design named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod, a conversation was organized at this higher educational institution, People`s Artists, Honored Artists of the Republic Uzbekistan academicians. The meeting was attended by the rector of the Institute Abbosjon Mirzorakhimov, several professors, academicians and artists like Javlon Umarbekov, Bakhtiyor Nazarov, Yigitali Tursunnazarov, Sadulla Abdullaev, Akmal Ikhromjonov, Bakhodir Jalolov, Sobir Rakhmetov, Fayzulla Akhmadaliev, Gafur Khadirov. The event was started by an introductory speech of the rector of the Institute, Abbosjon Mirzorakhimov and stated the following:

-We are proud that our institute has the most significant number of academicians. However, most of our youth do not know that we have professors and academicians with excellent knowledge and rich experience. This, of course, is our shortcoming. That is why we have set ourselves to regularly acquainting the youth with each of our academic teachers` life paths and creative lessons and holding a monthly cultural and educational meeting with them. We always need advice and support from educators like you. After all, reverence and respect for teachers are some of our noble values.

The meeting also discussed issues of strengthening the institute`s organizational, financial, educational, methodological and material and technical base, including boosting infrastructure, equipping with modern educational and laboratory equipment and some issues to be resolved during the new year. A number of suggestions about effectively conducting the practice of students in cooperation with organizations in the field of fine and applied arts, art history, museum business and design-to familiarize themselves with the historical monuments of our country, to depict them with an expression of their essence as well as to encourage talented and motivated students, proposals were given to conduct internships and advanced training abroad.
